Mindset: City Toronto

Toronto is defined as “the city of nations” since it represents the cultural, ethnic, racial, linguistic, religious diversity of the world as a cosmopolitan city. The gay village (Church Street) in Toronto is a place where diversity is represented. It is also one of the places preferred by immigrants. Visual representations in the neighborhood have turned into representations of the gay community. Almost everyone knows each other. As a neighborhood where I also lived (2016-2017), Church Street preserves itself as an indicator of Toronto’s multicultural structure.
